A Murano style opaline glass footed salt cellar or trinket dish with decorative silver plate rim and base. There are two very small markings on the base. The three round silver plate footings are good. The opaline appears milky white but is multi-color like a light fire or sunset in the light. Likely from the 19th century, but the date and location of manufacture is unknown. If Murano, this was made in Italy. There is some wear from use along the upper rim, see photos. Size: 2 7/8 x 2 1/8".
