A large hand painted decorative ceramic incense burner with red oxblood style under-glaze. It depicts red flowers and scrolls with small carved openings on all sides. There is a formed rounded top with small openings. The piece separates into two pieces. The inside is fairly smooth and sandy in color. There are red rings around the base footing. The inside of the base is sandy in color and smooth as well. There are no chips or imperfections. Size: 15 T x 6.5" W. Provenance: China. Date of manufacture is unknown.
