A large blue and white ironstone platter in Siam pattern, associated with J C and J W Meakin, Shaffordshire. Made in England in the 19th century. The ironstone depicts white ceramic top with blue transferware design with a city scene, trees and stream. There is a decorative city border. There is a hairline crack on the left edge of the platter on top that extends around the back (pictured). It is not creating any weakness in the piece. The maker mark is on the base edge. Size: 16 x 12.5". Hand wash or spot clean only.
