Gold Cloisonné Vase, 9"

An ornate and heavily gilded Cloisonné enamel vase. The vase depicts a Manjushri sitting on a Buddhist lion. The vase has handles shaped liked serpents and a brass footing. The vase has colors of green, blue, red, purple, black, pink, and white. There are nice decorative patterns on the neck with ornate gilded texture. The gilt is rubbed in some areas on the serpent handles (pictured). Sections of the vase may have not been gilded as they are perfectly silver. The sides of the vase have floral decoration. The inside is clean. The handles are well attached. Size: 9.5 T x 7 W x 6.5" D. Date of origin is unknown.
