A miniature portrait, hand painted on porcelain, inlaid in a decorative gold scroll holder. 19th Century painting or earlier, likely painted in France. There is a tag on the back indicating this is a biblical painting of Ruth. There is a full crack in the gold framing at the very top that may have been reattached. The right “leaf” at the very top is missing. There is is a working hanging wire on the back. The painting appears unsigned. Size: 8.35x6”
