An antique, Victorian edition of Lucile by Owen Meredith. Illustrated by F T Merrill. Engraved by George T Andrew. Published in 1884 by Thomas Y Crowell. There is chipping or general shelf-wear on the lower backstrip cloth. There is heavy tanning on the pages opposite the engravings or illustrations. There is gilt on three-sides of the foredge. The pages are crisp and mostly white with mild toning. There are a few dark spots near the upper right cover corner. The hinges are sound and the endpages are good. 369 pages.
