An antique French porcelain jardinere or cache pot with lion mask handles that are gilded. The piece is hand painted in gold paint with blue and red foliage and ribs on on the upper and lower edges. There is gilt loss in areas such as on the lion mask or along the upper rim. There is some antique wear along the base edge. This likely was produced in the mid to late 19th century but date of manufacture is unknown. There is a drainage hole in the base. There are unknown manufacturing markings on the base. Size: 5 3/8 x 4 3/4”.
