A lot of antique Charles Dickens books with royal purple cloth covers, published in 1908 from The University Society Inc. Titles include Barnaby Rudge, Edwin Drood, Master Humphrey's Clock, Uncommercial Traveller, and No Throughfare. The condition is very good. There is gilt on the upper page edge. They are illustrated in black and white with 19th century style illustrations. The pages are mostly white throughout. There is a smudge or soil spot on the lower backstrip of Edwin Drood. There is a light soil spot near the upper right cover corner of Barnaby Rudge, Volume II.
