The books are quarter leather with nice brown leather spine and marble paper covers. The endpages match the cover paper. There are five raised ribs on the backstrip with gilt decoration. There is wear and damage to the leather on the upper backstrip. The foredge has beautiful marbling. There is more foxing in volume two, particularly in the lower margin areas. Volume one and two has heavy foxing before and after the endpages. 329 + 330 pages. Size: 6 1/4 x 4 5/8”.
