An antique book with two novels by Edward Bulwer Lytton or Lord Lytton. The Last Days of Pompeii and Harold. The cover says Bulwer Lytton's Novels, so this may have been from a collection of books. Published in London by George Routledge and Sons. The interior is in fair condition. The title page for Pompeii is detached. The hinge is cracked in several places for the Pompeii book (pictured). The pages are heavily tanned throughout. There is a frontispiece illustration for each book. The hinge for the Harold book is good. The hinge at the endpages is good. There is some shelf wear and discoloration on the upper and lower backstrip. The cover cloth is a clover green with gilt and embossed decoration. Size: 7 3/8".
